15 May 2009, Friday:
Old habits sure die hard. Santa is bound to put me on his naughty list. Please, no no no no no! (Familiar much?)
I was in school for less than ten minutes and I bumped into my girls, Mas, Adz and Hamz, with Jason alongside. I went there simply to meet Anne, and we racked our brains hard, thinking of where to head to and what to do.
After much contemplation, we decided to go to Tampines Mall. Pretty much expected, isn't it? I reckon that's the typical life of a kid studying in Temasek Polytechnic. Apart from where I reside, another half of my life practically revolves around Tampines- work and school.
Eventually, we found something to do. It shall remain as a highly confidential (not!) secret till time permits to divulge. I have never felt so enthusiastic about such things. It showed how much this would mean to me.
After which, we went down to Fish & Co. since Anne had to work that evening. Upon arriving at the entrance, I noticed there were only two tables. I caught the stares of the couple at table 06 and squinted my eyes to zero in on their faces. Bam! It was Adz and Ben.
AWW..
That is my usual line whenever they are together.
Dearest came down, so we sat at station D as we were wondering where to go next. Betty, being her chronic meddlesome-self, kept gawking at us and grinning so widely as if her boyfriend just proposed to her.
Betty: Ni wei she me bu hao yi si?
What?! I haven't got a clue what made her say that repeatedly.
Don't get me wrong, I ain't mad at her or whatsoever.
Finally, we left Fish & Co., wandering around trying to scout for a place to get something to satisfy our sweet tooth. For two extremely indecisive beings like us, it was amazing we took less than an hour to settle for Century Square's Haagen Dazs.
Close to the end of our desserts, Khai and Lim (I presume. How else can you spell this surname?) came to find us. Having time to kill before midnight, they suggested going to Bugis.
BUGIS?!
Journeys along highways are always delectable :D
(Hmm, just to sidetrack for awhile.)
As I was recalling how this particular bike ride was last night, I began to reminisce even further into my memory, digging up my recollection of all the bike rides dearest has given me. I know he would feel upset reading this, and as a matter of fact, I don't feel too happy being reminded that he has to go for NS real soon. I will miss him terribly. I am not mentally prepared either. I will miss those bike rides. That bike which brought me to Redhill, and more importantly, that guy who was more than willing to send me all the way there. That guy who would send me home whenever he can. That guy who knows when am I happy and when I am not. That guy who would be glad when I am happy. That guy who would get worried when I am unhappy. That guy who would try his very best to protect my feelings. That guy who would give me a hug every time we meet. That guy who means so much to me. That guy whom I love dearly.
My beloved best friend(:
Whenever I bombard Khai with questions, he die die have to answer me so as to beat me. Losing to me is simply something he cannot accept. However, he hasn't always triumph over me, which probably irks him a lot. I find this funny.
So when I was talking to Lim, I learnt that he has a younger brother, Leon, currently also a slave of education in Temasek Polytechnic. Lim wasn't sure what course Leon is in, but I got something like Aerospace Management (?). Let me see, so it is down to either Aviation Management, Aerospace Electronics or Aerospace Engineering.
Touring around Bugis was somewhat a new experience for me. I don't quite frequent there, so that explains. On our way back to Fish & Co., we rode past Blu Jazz. Horny Bananas should visit that place some day and see if Mrs Wong is there being dressed up as Wonder Woman. Haha.
Dearest just dropped me off at the taxi stand before leaving to play soccer. Thereafter, I headed back to the store and helped Anne to mop station A. Ash was exceptionally delighted again, as we all know the reason behind his happiness. He is always happy, but I have never seen him this happy, and it was comforting to witness that.
I have a terrible hunch that things will go downhill even more swiftly now. My mind is in a whirl. My head is in a mess.
"Sometimes you got to break down and breathe."
Your prayers have yet to be answered, and I'm safe.
Goodnight.
